I am so ready to be over this shitty feeling! Could someone who has done it tell me when life is normal again and this drug gets out of your system??

You didn't say what dosage you were taking. But generally takes at least a couple days to be out of your system due to it's long half-life. Then there are the post-acute withdrawals (PAWS) which can linger for quite some time. There is no definite answer as to when you will start to feel better. What you can do is make sure you eat healthy foods and take vitamin supplements. Exercise is great to boost your natural endorphins too. I'm sure other members can share their experiences with PAWS. One of the most helpful things you can do is find something else to occupy the time you would of been out coppin and using. What other hobbies/interests do you have? Like the dude above me said exercise and vitamins are key also. I was into heavy weight lifting before I got into shooting dope so when I stopped doing dope I started lifting hardcore again. You really have to push yourself to your limit to get the full benefits, lifting hard= more endorphins produced. I base my routine around squats, deadlifts, and benching. The 3 best lifts you can do. It will also really help to raise your test levels and sex drive since opies diminish those. Also don't look at it like fuck me I have to go rest of my life without opiates, just take it one day at a time man

I'm 25 days out from coming off my bupe script and still getting acutes. Be prepared for a long ride, but dont let it put you off. Just keep on trucking and push on through, be proud of every hour you get further away from it.
 
Exercise, diet, and vitamins. Basically if you are a dude your testosterone levels are low which messes with your entire sense of well being you want to get back to equilibrium. What brings me back the fastest from sub w/d is daily wieghtlifting followed by running myself to the point of extreme exhaustion. It just works but it is a pain to do for some. W/e you do dont take some BS ssri it will only make shit worse ime
 
Fuck yeah ssri's scare me. I wish I could get back to even lifting bro but my shoulder is knackered. Going to be getting out on my singlespeed and working the legs and doing core exercises instead. Ive lost a stone over the course of this detox and I didnt have a stone to lose.
