DATING a WOMAN who was a MAN

I strongly suggest some of my fellow bluelighters watch the Belgium film Ma Vie En Rose. From wiki:

Ma vie en rose (English translation: My Life in Pink) is a 1997 Belgian film directed by Alain Berliner. It tells the story of a boy named Ludovic, who was born in a male body despite having a female gender identity. The film shows the struggle over gender identity he and his family go through.

It's by far the best queer transgender film I've seen.

Here are your results:

You got 10 out of 12 right, or about 83%.
A very good score! It looks like you can troll the singles bars with almost total impunity. Just don't get cocky.

This quiz has always seemed like the toughest of those type quizzes to me.

Though once again it's worth noting that looking at a bunch of pictures and investigating them knowing that some of them are TS is in no way related to the way people judge women in real life.

Sorry I haven't followed the entire thread, but speaking as a transgender person but not post-op or even pre-op I would say there are some pretty big gaps in knowledge on this thread.

First of all the neo-vagina does in fact self-lubricate to some extent (from the Cowper glands). Often it is not enough, so the transwoman may well use some lube, but you will never know.

Secondly people are attracted to one another largely by odors which are analyzed subconsciously. If you are attracted to a person, it has nothing to do with what their so-called birth gender was. The hormonal balance in transwomen is very close to that of biowomen and the odors they produce are very similar to women.

I don't see what the problem is with you guys, you want to get off, you get off, what has that got do with what a person was in the past?

The majority of transwomen feel that have always been women, and that their birth gender was an unfortunate accident of nature.
In fact it seems that the brain undergoes masculinization in the body at a later stage than physical sex is determined. Some people simply don't get the masculinization or only a little bit. As they go through life they start to have conficting feelings about their gender identity.

Why don't you get told up front? Basically because although men are desirable as partners you are also very scary people and have to be handled with care.
There are more transgenders who have died at the hands of men than I care to think about.
So the question I ask you guys the next time you think about nailing some hot piece of ass, is why do you want to do it? For fun and pleasure or to proof something to yourself and your friends?

Not every guy is out there trying to "nail some hot piece of ass." I want to share my life with somebody who has 2 X chromosomes and will make a good life partner and produce healthy offspring. Nothing in that scenario involves a transgendered person so I'm simply not interested. Don't take offense.

One of the strangest arguments I've ever encountered, bold in particular.

11 out of 12.

That was actually relatively easy. There was only one transsexual on that page that was really remarkably passable. (Hooray for FFS) The others need some work done to attain a really strongly passable appearance imo.

I think I know the one you're talking about, she's remarkable isn't she? Thanks for your quiz, it's a much better example. I only got 50% on that one.

I for one am often first attracted or repulsed by a woman's scent. It's one of the first things I notice. When you think about it, do you feel more attracted to the girl who smells of BO, is musty, has some tangy fish smell, or might have spilled a bottle of perfume on herself. Or is a girl who has some ineffable, pleasant but subtle fragrance, which is usually just below but sometimes barely around the level of awareness more attractive --given that they are equally attractive in the other wasy?

well sure but that is simply something different than saying that there is a mechanism working on the unconscious level.

its an orthogonal point you make, but mmmmmmm some girls do smell great don't they

I did very well on the quiz but I think the fact that I knew I was actively trying to figure out whither these individuals were male/female probably made a difference. Has I not known I might have categorized differently.
