I still can't believe I still believe in hope

A lyric I wrote the other day that keeps recurring, but one that I take great comfort in.
The most important gift you can ever give yourself is perseverance and the greatest skill you can build is your thirst for understanding. Hope comes naturally when you take charge of your self-worth and demand of yourself the quintessential belief in your ability to become someone you WANT TO BE.
We all go through trauma in life, every one of us, but it is the lessons we choose to learn or the affect of the trauma we choose to let overbear our comprehension and rationality are that which defines us individually. That's not to say bad choices mean you are a bad person. In fact, in means quite the opposite-- that if you can muster the self-discipline to analyze trauma's for the lessons they are and take the pain with a grain of salt or at least recognize what about yourself you want to change, you are FAR AHEAD of most people. Faith in yourself is sometimes blind, but that's the ONLY kind of blind faith that's worth anything-- because we MUST believe in ourselves and our abilities, even if we cannot see what they are at the present moment. Everyone has something they are truly passionate about in life, and it is the burning of passion inside of us which purifies us of all past wrongs because as long as we approach our development and life with an earnest desire to gain knowledge and become a better person no matter how slow the change, we are the lights of the world, the bluelights, if you will, of hope and inspiration for others and IT IS US WHO are the saviors of humanity... WE ARE the holy spirit and WE ARE the grace of GOD and soldiers of the divinity of the universe and THAT is something NO PERSON, PLACE, THING, EVENT OR FUCK UP CAN EVER TAKE FROM US, AND THAT INCLUDES YOU.
