It's not rocket science. When you prick holes in a can and put a flame next to it and inhale you're burning the paint and inhaling the fumes. And yes - it is proven that inhaling paint fumes is toxic, probably even moreso when burnt.it seems to me that everyone has a unjustified/not quite proven view against cans
