Dangerous amount of oxy?

So my buddy has some 30 mg roxies and he ate 45 mg at about 10 am and snorted 7.5 mg at around noon. He just ate another 45 mg with some benadryl (at 5 pm) because he said he really felt like getting high again.

His usual dose is about 40 mg... He's never gotten high more than once in a day or a few times in a week.

Is this enough of a break between doses to avoid it being dangerous? Is he going to be ok?

Yea he will be competely fine. If anything he will get a lil nauseous and throw up.

It's difficult to say. He should be okay - oxycodone's half life is about 3-5 hours so not hugely long, some of his initial dose will still be in his system but not a lot. Hopefully it should be fine, but keep an eye out for him becoming drowsy or his breathing rate slowing, and get medical help if you need it!

Also, make sure he doesn't have any other CNS depressants (benzos or alcohol) tonight.

Thanks for the replies guys, I guess I just don't like to take these things lightly and needed some reassurances.

He's doing fine right now, felt a little more nauseuous than usual in the beginning, but feeling pretty nice now. Also, thanks for the heads up on the cns depressants, I'll make sure he doesn't take any or have any drinks!

Do you think the diphenhydramine might have been a bad idea though?

If it were me it probably would've killed me, depends on the person.

Diphenhydramine should be okay but it's a sedating antihistamine so could have caused over-sedation.

Jaurk, you're right, it depends a lot on the person and the tolerance - which is why questions like this are so tricky to answer..
