Danger of DXM same day as a low dose of ephedrine?

I took 36.5 mg ephedrine 8 hours ago, would it be safe to dose 400 mg of DXM? I suspect there could be interactions, but I don't know if I'd be in any real danger since it was a low dose and several hours ago. Thanks!

DXM would actually counteract any negative side effects posed by the ephedrine, even at much higher dosages, so no, there are no dangers, really. But make sure your DXM product is pure, especially of phenylephrine.

If it contains phenylephrine there is considerable danger. Not just in itself, but in adrenergic synergy with the ephedrine.
