Dancesafe testing at raves

i'm sure plenty of you have seen Dancesafe tables testing pills at raves, etc. (props to them for that incredible service to our little community, by the way) My question is why aren't those logs that they keep published on the net? That would 100x better than pillreports.com or their lab results. They must test hundreds of pills every week in each of their regions, wouldn't you love to be able to see what pills had tested as bunk?
I realize that the test they use isn't 100% accurate or discriminating, but i'd just be happy to see those results with a little disclaimer about the possible inaccuracies which can arise in the testing. Maybe they could even *just* post the results of the pills they test that turn out to be bunk, what a service that would be...
Anyone definitively know why they don't do this?

i think it's because they don't have anyone to do all the data entry. there may also be legal reasons.
i might chase this one up. some sort of volunteer entry effort thru pillreports.com might work.
we are hopefully going to be starting onsite pill testing here in australia and i can assure we'll beputting it all up on the net, probably in its own section of pillreports.com

I guess it has to do with the fact that it always safer to test for yourself. I mean all these pills look the same and then they publish a Mitsi that contains mdma. Then you might be left with the conclusion that your pill is also full of mdma while it is full of PMA. Testing the pill yourself will tell you so. I am not sure but just thinking....

I agree with AJ. If you listed a whole bunch of pill results with no exact description or photo, you'd end up with a long list of stuff that would not be of much use. Perhaps we can think of a way around this? I will play some thinking music for you all..........
Would mean a lot more work for someone. Would also be difficult to do, as who's going to take photos of a pill someone handed to them at a rave?!!

points taken guys... but you've also described pillreports.com
i also wonder at it's usefulness but i dont think we should give up on it quite yet.
as for photos, many people can be bothered taking photos... see my pics threads... and candyfllips page.. all i need now is access to the pillreports db and a way to post em...

Hey all...
1. To anyone who is awaiting a response from me, I am back in action (long long story) and so you'll all get your emails over then next 24 hours.
2. My logs are just waiting to go online, part of the problems in responding to emails etc had to do with moving flats, and not having a phone line.. wednesday, that will all be fixed (I'm on at work now, having been off for 6 weeks!)
Cheers for your patience

In response to ChemGen's comments the logs that Dancesafe maintains of the pills they test do contain a pretty accurate description: caliper measured size, logo and color, what name the person was given for them, etc. It would certainly be more accurate than the testimonials in pillreports.com. To be honest i'd be happy if they only posted the stuff that came up as bunk. That's a much easier route both morally and legally: you aren't saying "these pills have MDMA in them", you're saying "these pills are not what they purport to be".
It would seem to be entirely in keeping with the purpose of Dancesafe, and it could be done just as easily as the pillreports page is.

P.S. Is anyone here active within Dancesafe in the U.S.?

The reason for posting those which are proper pills is so that people don't sit there wondering if they've taken something harmful.
