DanceSafe Test - Bright Pink Result?

The strangest thing happened recently... we tested a friend's pill and the result was Bright Pink. Pink wasn't even on the color chart. I was wondering if anyone (chemists) might know what is this stuff that this poor kid been eating? Thanks.

If it's a candy red / pink, it's probably asprin. Try a scraping of an asprin pill, side by side.

that's possible.
you really can't predict what color a substance will turn (well, you can, but it's damned complicated) so unless it's one of the listed drugs you can never be entirely sure...
aspirin sounds like something people would use to make totally fake e's. same with acetaminophen (tylenol, if you don't know) which probably won't turn the same color as aspirin since it contains nitrogen. both have a fairly distinctive taste which should be easily distinguishable from MDMA or really anything else.
