Damned benzo tollerance.

How come i developed such a high benzo tolleranance i downed 12 pills of clonazepam 2mg anf felt almost nothing..... i dont do benzos so requently (1 a week):\

i take valproic acid as a GABA stabilizer eveyday.

do any of u kno a way to lower benzo tollerance?

please i ned some info...even zolpidem is starting to not effect me anymore and its pissingme off.:X
 
If you would take benzos just once a week, you wouldn't built such a tolerance. Therefore, the statement above is nonsense. Benzodiazepines once or twice a week do NOT cause such a high tolerance as described. Either the frequency of use or the mentioned tolerance (26 mg clonazepam at ONCE?!) are wrong.

How are we supposed to help if you lie already with the first sentence?
 
24mg of clonazepam takes ~3,5 days to degrade to an actual dose of 2mg. so you're on benzos half of your time, even if you really eat them only once a week.

so what do you expect? (pity that there's no laughing smily with a hand in front of his mouth :) )
 
Clonazepam is a very long-acting benzo so a single dose of 24 mg will take SEVERAL DAYS to be cleared from your body, and will be acting on your BZD receptors the whole time. You'll need to wait at least 3-4 weeks until your body is free of benzos to start getting effects from them again.

I had a buddy consume about 500mg of diazepam powder, and he could never get the same effect from benzo's for like 6 months after that. A megadose of long-acting, lipid-soluble benzos will cause them to be stored in fatty tissues for a LONG time...
 
How long would a dose of half a gram of xanax take to clear?
Would it disrupt the effects of other gabagenics like gbl or pregabalin?
 
500mg of xanax is the same as taking 20,000 of valium... i'm surprised that you could survive that!!!

anyway, the triazolo ring in the alprazolam molecule is rapidly cleaved in the body so no storage of alprazolam or its active metabolites occurs in fatty tissues. though a dose that high might completely saturate your enzymes, it would probably cleared within 72 hours or so.
 
I sadly didn't get the Darwin award I was gunning for. I did get about 70 hours of sleep though, which was nice.

It was over a three week period, 100mg in 6 days or so, after consuming 40mg of Phenazepam.
Then a further 400mg over the next two weeks, my tolerance was high enough that I could plug 10mg for a mild sedating high, then I did 300mg in pretty much one go, I think mainly intranasally.
The annoying thing is, I don't even like the high, it's appalling in comparison to other Gabagenics like the aforementioned GBL and Lyrica.

Moral of the story for me is, don't have large quantities of powdered benzo's lying around.
 
I know you may not like this, but I think the only way to lower your tolerance to benzos is to stop taking them for a couple months. Not taking super long lasting benzos like clonazepam will also probably help. That'd be my suggestion.

judging by your posts you need to lay off them a bit in any case. and use a fucking spell checker.

This thread is just unbelievable, I'd just like to say. I used to get grams of alprazolam powder and maybe take up to 10 mg a day but taking 100 mg????? Wouldn't you just die??
 
benzos seem to be non lethal, after a certain concentration the body stops absorbing

A mother of a Friend of mine took 100 10mg valium to commit suicide.
the dayafter she was alive and pretty awake even if a bit fucked up
