Can't fall asleep tonight and I'm out of clonazepam (I take 2mg/night for insomnia) so I decided to Iv 6mgs of dilaudid and drink a quarter bottle of wine (White wine and home made ice tea make a good combo). This is the first time I've drank in months and is really starting to take its effect and make me drowsy. I got in a huge fight with my ex a few days ago in which I said some very evil things ( For instance I told her I was going to take the Americianium 241 I have and dissolve it into an acid, basify the mixture, put it in a rig and wait for her after work and dose her with it ). I'm still getting over some of the emotions brought out with the fight (I have schitzoaffective disorder so emotions are not my forte) and it's causing horrible insomnia (even my puppy isn't able to help me rest lol) and I'm out of clonazepam, I don't want to slip into old habits of using d to numb out. So anyone have an ideas on how to sleep or deal with emotions without the use of drugs. I was thinking of seeing my psychologist and the therapist at the sub clinic. Sorry for the erratic post it's late, I'm woozy and emotional lol.

Give melatonin a shot...u may be surprised! Valerian helps some although I have taken copious amounts to no avail....alchohol makes for a shitty sleep so I would avoid that....Just prepare mentally for no sleep ..don't push it and when it comes it will be much more rewarding. I too, suffer from insomnia and I find u have to overcome the mental aspect of it to be successful, May sound cheesy but its so true

I finally managed to fall asleep around 4am and now its 9am and I'm up because of a noisy little puppy :P I feel nice and rested, I guess I just had to wait altho I think the wine and dialudid helped.
