Yah so I have these small pills scored 84, generic xan 1mg. The script bottle says ER not XR assume its the same anyways, ive been looking for the best ROA and most of the posts are pretty old and didn't seem like a sure way was known. Has anyone came up with something. I almost feel no effects from doses that IR would floor me, I was expecting something at least...anyways thanks for any info. Im thinking the best answer is stick to IR>

I have never had this generic xanax xr, does it gel up like the other generics for this drug?
There was a method on how to make them into instant release but I don't know if it applies to this generic. The method was to crush the pill up very fine and put the powder into a shot glass with about half a shot of a high proof alcohol such as Everclear Grain Alcohol. This allows for the alprazolam to be extracted out of the gunk that forms when the xanax xr gets wet, and into the alcohol where it can be consumed.
Obviously the alcohol can pose a problem if too much is used and the effects overpower the xanax, or the two may cause a synergistic effect that may be more than you bargained for.
