Dad Punishes Drug-Abused Son By Making Him Wear A Sign, "I Abused And Sold Drugs"

14 year old boys fear little more than public humiliation. Although it seemed to work in this case at the possible expense of his middle and high-school reputation I can't help having the feeling that it was the perfect way to kick-start his marijuana and oxy business. He just has to act really sorry around any authority figures and when people his age come around to ask about it... how many other drug dealers can get away with wearing a huge advertising sign?

Why is this something hard to believe. I was more mature than my classmates and by the time i was 13 I had been smoking pot for a year, doing pills and coke. By 15 I had done H. In some places its so easily had.

Well really the point I need to get across is more and more kids this young are getting exposed to pills. I mean, you dont find bundles of dope in a family members medicine cabinent. But its easy to find pills. Plus they have gotten more media exposure lately.. and taking some pills from a doctor doesnt carry the same stigmas.

E blew up with media exposure. As did oxycodone and hydrocodone. Now every drug using teen has seen them right in their living room.

Well weed didnt hurt me.. not a big deal.. ill pop these pills
 
That reminds me of Mr Show. How when rapists got out of jail they had a person with a sign pointintg to them with a loud phone yelling "RAPIST COMING" "RAPING BACKING UP" "DONT GET RAPED" While following his work car in an ice cream type can yelling "RAPIST DRIVING"
 
this is crazy. If the son listened to his dad, he obviously wasn't too hooked on drugs. If my dad did this there is no way i would walk around with that unless i was high on opiates. I probably still wouldnt have sold my bags even if asked
 
Now he’s going to be socially fucked up and need therapy, forget about a date to the prom. That reminds me a couple of years ago I was walking down main street and their was a teenage girl about 15 wearing a big sign that said “ I am a thief and I stole things” she looked like she just wanted to run away and cry, I felt sorry for her. I think some of these grown ups need to be publicly humiliated.

Parents need to understand that if their kids want to do something they are going to do it and there is nothing the parent can do about it. I hope that when I am a parent I will know enough that there are going to be things that are out of my control and that I am open enough for my child to be able to talk to me without feeling like I am going to berate and belittle them.

I don't think having an open and honest relationship about drug use with any children I may have in the future is such a bad thing. If they are going to use I would rather they asked ME about it rather than some punk friend they may have. I already know that I am not always going to have control over every single choice that they make. Excuse me for being realistic.

Having an open relationship with your kids doesn't make you (or your kids) a whiny little bitch, it means that you did a good fucking job raising your kids.
