ok so i've previously been on vyvanse which was my first substance to tweak on (I have ADD, but i find stimulants more beneficial to social situations now that i'm out of school and am not impaired by the ADD as much as anxiety) and eventually got my psych. to switch me to desoxyn. I have to say now that i've been on desoxyn for ~3-4 months and my friend gave me a vyvanse 2 weeks ago and i actually miss vyvanse compared to desoxyn. with vyvanse, it's almost more like a roll where i am very talkative and motivated to do things i know i have to do and otherwise wouldn't want to. with desoxyn though, the main aspect of the pill is strictly euphoria, i feel real happy inside but if someone where to look at me they couldn't even tell, i'm rarely talkative unlike with vyvanse (i have SA, GAD, and acute panic disorder, so i'm never talkative) and i just hold the euphoria inside me instead of letting it out with words/actions. Has anyone else experienced this or is it just me?

I've also previously been on various benzos for my anxiety but i find them far more addicting than stims.
(I know they make anxiety worse but they help my SA which is far more severe than my GAD)

Yes, some people do experience methamphetamine as "smoother" and straight amphetamine as more "edgy" or "tweaky". This is because amphetaine can be quite a strong releaser of norepinephrine (vs dopamine and serotonin) compared to methamphetamine, which is slightly more balanced.

However, speculative threads like this are not allowed because they turn into social threads really fast. If you feel your medication is not controlling your ADD adequately, I suggest consulting your doctor about changing it back to Vyvanase. Also do remember that amphetamines have a tendency to exacerbate panic disorders.
