Cyproheptadine (Periactin) effects?

It's an anticholinergic, so an OD would act as a deliriant; ie, not fun and probably dangerous.

Worse still, it acts on a lot of other receptors, so you need to be worried about other dangerous sideffects.

Also, people on yahoo answers are morons, and many of them will eat anything in the medcine cabinet (or anywhere else, for that matter) in the hopes of getting a buzz of some sort.

It is an antihistamine. It also has anticholinergic and antiserotonergic effects, so will lead to delirium in high doses which is not good. Due to it's antagonistic effects at the 5HT-2 receptor, I'd think it could possibly lead to hypotensive problems as well.

So do not abuse this one. Might be good to add with an opioid for sedation and less itchiness though.

And I hear it's an option for those who after bein talked into adding an SSRI to their lithium by their psychiatrist can't cum anymore and want to punch a fucking hole into the wall!!!!!!!!!

Anyone?
