Cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril)-My First Time-Wanted Sleep, Got Hallucinations

Yesterday afternoon, I felt bored. I had a ton Adderall that I haven't used so I decided to have two 20mg pills at 2:30 PM to make work more bearable.

Now fast foward to 10:30 PM, when I get home from work. I still feel really wired from the Adderall. From past experience, I know that it will be impossible to sleep tonight. Then I remembered where some muscle relaxers were in my house (I had found them a week ago and got all excited because I thought they were opiates). I had already looked on the internet and found out that they were Cyclobenzaprine (which will be referred to as "Cyclo" from here on). I couldn't figure out how many milligrams they were. So around 10:40 PM, I took my first Cyclo. After 40 minutes, I didn't feel any different or less wired so I decided to take another Cyclo. I was not prepared at all for what came next.

Only 10 minutes after taking the 2nd Cyclo, I started noticing movement in my room even though it was deadly silent and I was the only one awake. I would catch something in my peripheral vision but then it would dissapear. I was on my laptop and saw something behind it; I stuck my head out and saw a pink and black checkered coat that quickly moved out of my vision. All the shadows in my room started moving. A thing I called my Ghost Cloud Friend would materialize whenever I looked at my walls, Ghost had an evil grin and could go into my mirror too. There was a cute looking but mean Chinchilla hanging on my bedroom doorknob but when I got closer he dissapeared.

I looked down from my bed to my sisters (we have bunk beds and have to share rooms when I'm home from college:p ) and saw a very evil looking guy with no eyes, a thin oval face and a weird hat poke his head out and stare at me. A cool "power" I had was that I would look at something and then white smoke would come out of it. I could do that to things across the room. I also tried to shoot webs out of my fingers and it worked! I saw this giant angry looking black dog jump onto my suitcase. Then, 4 black Scottish terrier appeared one by one. All the dogs were at the bottom staring at me. While they stared, a metal stick started slowly rising from below my bed towards me. I never saw the bottom end of the stick so it either floated or the no-eyes dude was trying to stab me. I turned my lamp on and everything dissapeared. Unpleasantly enough, one of my last visuals were spiders and other bugs everywhere, but they were made out of the same stuff that my finger webs were so I just blew them away.

Now this all sounds really fun but it could have been a lot better. I really wasn't prepared for hallucinations; good thing I didn't take the Cyclos before work! I wish I could have had someone else there with me. It would be fun to trip with another person, but I wouldn't have minded chilling with a sober person if they didn't want to trip. Everyone in my house was asleep when I came home so it was dark and quiet all night. Some of those visuals scared me, like the guy with no eyes and all the things that pop up from nowhere. I wouldn't even go outside to smoke a cig because I was scared of the dark.

I wanted to put this in Trip Reports because I was completely surprised by the Cyclos. After identifying them I did some research. Whenever anyone talked about them on the internet, they said that Cyclos were boring, had absolutely no recreational value, and were a waste. I expected them to be like Xanax. I've done acid and shrooms before but they have never made something just appear and dissapear. I know it wasn't Adderall that caused the hallucinations because I've never had any visuals in all the times I've done them. I also took the Adderall 9 hours before I started tripping anyway.

I have used this one for sleep-well the doc said it was for muscle relaxation(yeah right) and had a night terror. Horrible stuff IMO....I'd rather take DPH than this stuff any day.

that makes sense, no wonder I was seeing so many shitty things. I was so scared of everything too, I thought that the dolls on my shelf were coming for me...

I do not think the problem was that you took the cyclo, I think the problem was that you had taken plenty with the first pill but did not know it because the subtle effects of cyclo are only pronounced by making you extremely tired which you would not feel wired up on adderall. In my opinion you had just taken too much by consuming the second pill. You said that you were not sure the dosage of the pill but consumed more than one anyway. That is a very risky practice.

Cyclobenzaprine comes in 5mg and 10mg tablets.

The known symptoms of cyclobenzaprine overdose can include:

* drowsiness
* fast heartbeat
* tremors or shaking
* slurred speech
* confusion
* nausea
* vomiting
* hallucinations (seeing things)
* chest pain
* seizure (convulsions).

An overdose of cyclobenzaprine can be fatal.
