Cyclazodone

Another pemoline/4-mar relative with less cardio- and hepatotoxicity than amphetamine and favorable therapeutic index and margin of safety in comparison to Pemoline and other N-lower-alkyl-substituted Pemoline derivatives. I'm intrigued. Anybody having more information or experiences?

Pemoline is a curious compound, because it could theoretically be made from mandelic acid extracted from apricot seeds without any watched chemicals. Too bad you can't easily produce the cyclopropylated version without having the illegal pemoline as an intermediate.
