So I did a CWE today with 15 pills of codeine . 8mg codeine 325 mg acetaminophen. In 100ml of water (let it sit in the freezer for 15 min until cold). Filtered with two filters (coffee filters) then filtrated it through a 3rd coffee filter. End result was almost clear. With a very mild cloudiness, very mild. I saw the amount of white sludge in the filters and it was quite substantial. So I am pretty sure I got most of the stuff out. One thing is my stomach hurts a little bit. I am pretty sure I got mostly codeine, but just to make sure is that a good enough CWE??

cant say for sure but pretty sure ur sweet , if it was basically clear then there is next to nothing in there . possibly just stomach pains from opiates in general ? or maybe ur super sensitive to the small amount of paracetamol ?

You're fine, barely any apap, less than 5% will have gotten into your final solution.

Don't use so much water, less is better because the whole point is the solubility of apap in cold water is way way way lower than codeine. 100ml wasn't completely overkill, but 2-3ml per pill (30-45ml for this case) would have done the job just fine. And you don't gotta drink as much bitter liquid.

The stomach pain (small cramps I assume?) are just a bit of stomach constipation. It's quite normal when using opiates and, in my opinion, codeine especially.

Yeah, codeine can cause nausea or abdominal pain (the latter from cramping or constipation). I would say if you removed even most of the APAP, it's probably just the codeine itself bothering your stomach.
