Customs and Importing

I've had a few people tell me that importing anything to Australia is pretty safe, given it's packaged discreetly and it's below a certain weight. They say AUS customs only really bothers checking mail that's over 4 grams? But I have no idea if this is true. Being unsure about it, I've only bought domestically but most things I want to order are only available from overseas.

Does anyone know anything about this weight limit thing?

Threads like this aren't allowed dude. But I rekon it's not true and customs will go after any size or weight, it's really not worth it imo.

As pointed out by poledriver this type of thread is not allowed, we are not here to help you import drugs. There is always going to be some risk when importing border controlled substances and for you to assume any different would be rather foolish.
