Hey sorry guys, I posted this and then went MIA for a bit. Been really busy lately. Im glad you all seem to like it though, and its funny that many of you guys mention that you want one, cus the polished ones are for sale now in a smoke shop right around the corner. The problem is the smoke shop is not located in a high visability area so it doesnt get as much business as a nice smoke shop like this should, and without the foot-traffic these wonderfull hard hitting pipes arent getting a chance to sell, even at $120 when most quality blow off valves range from about $150 to $300. So if any of you are interested in one let me know, and I'll let them go to the the forum members for $100, and I'll even pay shipping within the US.
Honestly, making these was just a hobby that kept this stoner busy for a bit, Im keeping the black one for my personal collection but the 3 polished ones Im not looking to hold onto, and I just want to sell them cheap so I dont have to keep checking on them in this guys smoke shop around the corner.

So not to sound like a sale ad or anything, but if some of you are genuinely interested in these pieces Id be happy to sell them for $100, which is honestly damn near what it cost to make them out of real performance blow off valves. These werent made from cheap eBay knock-offs either.

I drive a 300+hp VW GTI, (aka Moneypit) with many performance bolt-ons, and Im a fabricator so theres plenty of my own custom parts on it too, and I actually ran this exact style BOV on the car for a bit (dont worry, I didnt turn the used one into a pipe, lol) until I changed to a custom fitted valve.

His car doesn't work, man! He used his BOV for a bong, so now he just gets stoned and sits around the house!

My mate is talking about creating a Bong with so many car features. He is planning to rig up an odometer to an ignition set up which will click over every time a bong is lit, so effectively it will count how many times the bong has been smoked haha. And he was going on and on about other shit, like a pressure gauge showing the pressure building up as you toke in the bong. Oh man i'll have to talk to him about it and tell you guys when i'm not this high.

Dude that sounds like a lot of work, but sweet as hell! I have to put all my other pipes and bongs asside for a bit, and tell everyone "Hey guys, put that pipe down, we gotta put some milage on my new bong!" So what is the recommended milage for a water change/tune up on a bong like that? lol

Yeah they are, most of the time they run from about $150 to $300 for a decent one, and even more for some really high end ones. It depends on a few options and the style of the valve. These are the most common style that will fit as a direct replacement performance upgrade. Forge brand makes a few quality in this style but they are a little pricy.

I know what you mean. Between my intake, bov, and electric exhaust cutout, it lets you hear more of my turbo than most can handle, lol.

Yeah but how hard would you get while cruisin in that 240 sippin smoke off this valve!
Honestly this thing hits like a champ, really, the intensity of this pipe will surprise the shit out of you. Its so much fun to not warn your friends before hitting this for the first time, and watch their faces as they realize they just got more than they bargained for.
I made several styles of bowls for this and smoked from every one to find the one that I thought flowed best with this pipe. Even with a screen (which Ive already pre-installed in every one) they flow so well. After all, I couldnt make it look like performance part if I couldnt make it perform like a performnace part.

i like the ideas about the bong with the press. gauge and odometer (triggered by a temp. sensor?)

always wanted to hook a compressor wheel up to an electric motor, make a screen out of the housing inlet and have a bong that makes boost! imagine taking a hit at bar +1

At least you drive a GTI and not a DSM. You're on the road by my estimate 40% more than the average DSM driver lol

the problem with a pressure gauge is that there will only be like 1-2 psi change through out the bong during the entire process of the hit. if there were pressure, the water would be expelled from the bong, what's really happening is a vacuum. it's a pretty weak vacuum at that, because the air only has to reach an under-pressure great enough to break the surface tension of the water.

Read post number, I think 24. Id be happy to sell one or two, I only have a few of them. I'd let one go for $100 including shipping and all. Theyre a little expensive, its cus theyre made out of real BOVs.
