^^ If those are the same Hoff 2000s that were around last summer then theyre not very potent at all. Maybe ~70mics.
Then again its a very widely used blotter design so could well be a different batch.

220ug is a fucking huge dose for your average,'run of the mill' commercial blotter for mass distribution, so I wouldn't want to put money on it. I have come across ones that are 200ug+ per blotter, but they were always custom batches that were only produced in small numbers. Then again, with the custom batches, I've come across a couple of examples that were 350-400ug per blotter - pretty scary if you weren't aware of their dosage before bunging it in yer gob =D
 
Those Blue Stars are fucking shit.

how many did you have Hirsty?

I hate getting weak acid, I had 1 blue star and 3 of these black blotters at Glade. Eventually tripped but not as much as I'd have liked.
 
Hoffman 2000s - weakish - needed two, estimation ; 70-100µg (I previously thought they were different ones which is why I thought 220mics)
180µg Green Dwarfs - very nice :D
250µg Hoffman Originals with Chemical Structure on back - yet to try :D

The Alex Grey Hoffmans had the chemical structure on the back of part of the sheet. They were ~170µg tho.

What print you mean by Hoffman Originals?

not much in the midlands at the moment only wheres wallys(shit) and ive heard of ones called tinkerbells aswell but havnt seen personally

I haven't seen L on the street around birmingham for a good few months. I probably just need better contacts!
Its all good for now though as ive got some 200mcg "mayas" on the way%)
 
Just wondering, but who is it that measures the amount of acid on the blotters? Do you all personally know the chemists or is it more a case of educated (or not so educated) guesswork and wishful thinking?

I know the acid I was buying in the early 90s was ridiculously strong - half a tab was way stronger than stuff that was around even a few years later. And the only blotters I've had in the last few years have been pitifully weak.

I'm sure that it's just my astounding and confounding lack of contacts for psyches these days, cos there appears to be loads of high-strength acid around if these doses are accurate. Damn my lack of psychedlically-minded peers!

Im normally told the dose by the supplier and 9 times out of 10 there pretty accurate. But thats just me, i know the dosage of acid tabs nowadays tends to be exaggerated a lot with dealers probably just making up numbers to get the sale.
 
^ & ^^ I suspected as much. I remember buying acid from Spiral Tribe "back in the day" (as every 12 year old in the land is wont to say 8)) and watching the fella making up the blotters. Always seemed like a bit of a guesswork-based process anyway. Even if you know the concentration of the liquid then how you can be sure of the amounts that actually end up on each blotter - when you factor in a bit of "bleeding" between the tabs - is beyond the understanding of a simpleton such as I. I'd always assumed that doses given were pretty much approximated and rounded off.

I know the guy that lays them.

Yeah he says they can be anywhere between 220-280mics.
