yeah I posted that on the previous page, the Buddhist description certainly seems to fit for psychedelics

The symbol as it is used in Buddhist art and scripture is known in Japanese as a manji (literally, "the character for eternality" 萬字), and represents Dharma, universal harmony, and the balance of opposites.

but the makers must know what its going to be interpreted as, and the L blotter was of Hitler, not the Swastika! seems a bit odd to me, there is such a wide choice of images to use.. ah well, anyone got any acid recently? :)
 
True. Hitler wouldn't be my first choice for a blotter print, in all honesty. I do rather like f&b's idea though :D.

And yes, I personally have had some acid in recent times - as anyone who frequents BL of a weekend may have noticed =D.

It's about - there's some nice Hoffmans doing the rounds at the moment, for example - but it's rarely the simplest of things to find... Good luck on your searches though :).

Anyone know anything on potency / cleanliness?

They are rather pretty, aren't they? Would almost be a shame to eat them... almost ;).

But only 100mics for commemorating the man himself? Surely they could have pushed the boat out a bit more and gone for something a bit more memorable. How much did Hoff take the first intentional time? That would have been rather poetic and fitting dose :).

hey,
i'm new to acid and just wanted to ask wether there are some "trends" to the doses. for example that shivas are always 200mic (just random number here) or hoffs are 250 or something. anyone? :)

Hi Buffalo Soldier, and let me be the second to welcome you to BL and EADD in particular :).

As Fishface said, take the stated doses with a pinch of salt - they are almost all (with a few notable exceptions) guesswork. As a very rough guide, I would say that the majority of acid in the UK is around 100mics or under. Occasionally a stronger batch comes through (the current Hoff's for example which appear to be around 150-175 mics) but as a rule dosages will always be overstimated by people.

Unfortunately, unless you happen to know a friendly chemist or similar, you really won't know how strong the tabs are without trying them. If you are completely unfamiliar with acid then I would suggest that you play safe at first - maybe just take half a tab and see how you go. You may (or may not) be underwhelmed but you can always go for a whole one the next time :).

There's no British Standard kitemark or International Standard for LSD Blotters I'm afraid. There might be a period where one design becomes associated with high strength/quality, but you always end up with copycats, some producing much weaker forgeries

Caveat emptor I believe is appropriate at this juncture :)
