Benzos ?ctiv substance in tablet are distributed equaly into the pill ?

hello

i wanted to know in the drug tablets pills (benzo, ad,viagra etc ...) if the active substance was equitably distributed ? because I cut them into several small parts using a small cuting-machine.

it's important for dosage that small parts have to be splitted in equivalent dosage in my calcul... and avoid an overdose or else...

Yes Immediate Release pharmaceuticals are mixed homogeneously with excipients that hold everything together when dry (aside from coating). This does not always hold true for extended release meds or spansules.

Also, splitting pills that have acid resistant enteric coatings may reduce their absorption. With all the generic brands out there, a call to your pharmacist might help decipher if your pill is enterically coated.

If it is from a drug manufacturer then the medication is evenly distributed throughout the pill. If it's home made pressed in a foreign country it may not actually be.
