Crying on G

I have been drinking G for a while now, tried all different quantities etc. So I guess I could say I am "experienced" but the last few times, I have unprompted fits of tears. I am not sad at the time, no serious sadness to make me this way, or anything to bring this about. After about 5 mins it goes away just as quickly as the "attack" comes on.
I found it strange because, generally G is a relaxant and not a mood altering substance.
Why would I start crying? I have seen this instance in one other person, in which I could say is quite a stable person. Strange eh?
Well, point I am getting at is... anyone else seen/had this out burst?
Needless to say, I have stopped drinking it because I think unprompted tears is unusual.

I've never had this happen, nor have I seen it happen

But just out of curiousity's sake: Was it just that your eyes were watering, or were you actually crying, sobs and all? Either way, I hope it goes away for you, G is fun

I can understand that this would happen Pilly, sometimes GHB can get pretty damn intense, particularly when taken after a bunch of other chemicals. Maybe it has something to do with part of the GHB dopamine effects? You don't feel sad but tears can be our response to relief, happiness, and any other intense emotion: maybe the GHB just gets a bit intense at that point? Does this effect happen with a slightly reduced dose, or a fractionated dose (ie. 4x quarter-doses each separated by 10 mins)?
That being said, you've defined this side-effect as being personally disturbing, and have discontinued your use of GHB. For me, that is enough to congratulate you on realising when to give it a rest, and having the maturity to make the decision.

Depressants as a relief causing crying. Same can go with general anastethics (sp?) - you can come out crying your eyes out. Related?
