Cross tolerance between psychedelics and cocaine/ mephedrone

Would taking coke or meph the day before or after a psychedelic change the experience because of down-regulation of serotonin receptors?

Cocaine definitely wouldn't because its action is dopaminergic. When I was abusing the hell out of mephedrone I had strange results with psychedelics, but I'm not sure how a single day's use would affect anything.

I don't think serotonin would be effected enough after one use to severely change the experience, however it may slightly alter the effects.
