Crohns and Cannibus?

I don't (as of yet, it runs in my family), but I know someone with very serious Crohns who smokes weed. I've not talked with him much about his medicinal use of weed, but I think it helps a lot with eating and pain relief and such. He's smoked pot for probably 15 or 20 years and had Crohns for around 10 or 15.

So I guess...it works for some. I don't know of any reason that weed would make Crohns worse if that's what you're thinking.

Cannabis is a great treatment for the disease judging by what I have seen. Not only does it act on receptors in the digestive system but it also helps with pain perception.

Oh no I knew it diidnt make it worse and that it helps, just curious if anyone has had personal experiences. I'm off probation in a couple weeks and am considering trying that route instead of the kratom/prescription route... I really have to weigh my options though I want a better job I do OK now with 14 an hour and plenty of overtime.. but I'd like better and an office job would also be easier on my stomach I work at a warehouse now =\
