Does the cat ever wonder
if I drink too much?
Doubtful,
just look at him;
he chases his own tail,
paints the carpet puke green,
and then sleeps.
He sleeps all day long.
Untroubled
with his own interminable processes,
the old ancient structure,
the one true feline religion,
strings on a stick.
Are there exclusive features
for all of God's creatures?
Something to think about, I guess,
with a cat sleeping on your chest.
