"crank" question

Ok mighty drug gurus I need some "speed" help "fast".
The recent "Big Boom" in crank production (as the media calls it) has raised some questions for me.
1. This "crank" they talk about is made from Sudafed, batteries, ammonia, etc...
Is the end result acutally metamphetamine.
The reason I ask is I recently bought a 1/2 gram of some "bomb ass crank" (as the dealer called it).
I ate a 1/4 gram in a capsule and did not feel any effects for 2 hours. Then I snorted a line of coke (avg. quality) and within 10-15 min. was speeding like hell with all the euphoria I expected.
Now I have done 15 mg Desoxyns before and they were awsome. But I know I took 15 mg of real Methamphetamine. The comeup on those was quick and sudden. Not at all like the "super crank". Now I am not saying the crank wasn't good, I'm just wandering why the long come up?
I guess my other question stems back to the first, if this crank today is really methamphetamine why the differences?
And do you think the coke had come type of "boosting" effect???
PEACE

usually low quality speed is refered to as crank....high quality you will get terms like meth/crystal/glass..etc
was it powdery or chunky crystals?

I cant really say I would take the term "Bomb ass crank" to literaly if I were you. Yes, crank means low quality meth. However it can be just plan old amphetamine or have alot of cut in it. 1/4 of a gram is quite a large amount considering you only need about 5 to 10 mg's to feal anything at all. The coke more than likely boosted the effects because it's a stimulant too and you probably already had a low dose of speed running through you. Prehaps you had a meal you forgot to take into acount before you took the speed? More than likely it sounds like crapy ass unpredictable crank strikes again.
