Ever since I had heart surgery when I smoke pot it really hurts my lungs. I only really notice it when I lie down and try to sleep, but it just hurts... makes me feel uncomfortable. It's still worth it once in a while, or so I thought. I thought I couldn't possibly be doing permanent harm.
But could I be doing permanent harm? After my heart surgery my doctor said I had pulmonary hypertension. Surely there has been some permanent damage to my lungs during that whole fiasco. There must be a reason why it didn't used to hurt to smoke and now it does. Surely it's not all in my head...
After smoking pot 2 days in a row and noticed my right lung was hurting. I had a really bad day and I suck at coping so despite that warning sign I smoked a third day. My lung hurt so bad that I made a batch of Poppy Seed Tea to ease the pain and help me sleep. Gulped it all down as quick as possible. Well that knocked me out.
When I woke up I had a nasty headache. Thought I had a cold because I was coughing. But then I noticed I wasn't coughing up phlegm, it was blood. Pure dark red blood.
Throughout the day I've been debating going to the hospital but I didn't want to miss work. I'm close to getting fired from missing days. But now I'm off and I'm still debating, should I go to the hospital? I haven't been coughing as much and I feel way better. There is still a tinge of blood in my cough but it's not pure red like it was before.
I know everyone's probably just gonna tell me to go to the ER, but if you had spent as much time in the hospital as I have you would understand... If you're gonna tell me to go to the ER could you explain a medical reason why I may be in danger? I just want to talk to someone who understands the human body, who knows what might be going on..
Thanks for reading.
