Why are all cough syrups non drowsy now? I remember getting high of those which made you drowsy whatever happend to them? fuck sake shit is getting boring..
 
um, I'm not sure what you're talking about?

I guess it depends where you live, as you cannot get codeine otc here in the States. DXM only. That being said, not all DXM or non-DXM syrups are non-drowsy. Some are, but others aren't (such as most DMs contain DXM and Guaifenesin). In fact, most syrups I see are not non-drowsy.

what region are you talking about?
 
Im in the UK, I dont think the cough syrups ive had contained dxm, but they caused drowsyness and I used to drink half a bottle when I was 14 to get fucked out of my face
 
Well, maybe someone from the UK will get in on this, but still... I'm pretty certain you could find some codeine+antihistamine containing syrup someWHERE on your isle... A trip to another town's pharmacy might be in order, perhaps?

TBH though iono if they eve have otc codeine syrup in the UK, although that is probably what you had as a child (codeine+antihistamine I mean). But I can only speculate.

Can you get otc codeine pain meds where you live (I know from other and personal experience they're otc in the UK)? If you can't get those even, well, I don't know...

p.s. If you can you might want to change the identifier from "RC" to opioids or something like that. This isn't an RC issue.
 
The closest thing to codeine is getting co-codomol and doing the water extraction. I have no idea what the fuck it was I was getting high of as a kid, it was simply "drowsy" cough syrup and I just drank it until I felt drowsy/drunky feeling no euphoria so couldnt have had dxm lol

The cough syrup I have no contains "glycerol" have no idea what that would do...


well its not an RC but not an opiate either dont kno where it belongs.. :)
 
Hmmm... srry, I got no idear on this one. Maybe it had a barb in it?!? Any more info might help us narrow down what it could have been

I don't see why or how the glycerol could have anything to do with getting high, but I've been wrong before... :\
 
Its diff not glycerol! I dont know it was just like an average cough syrup which made you really drowsy and gaved you a benzo type of high, proberly impossible to track it down lol oh well!!

Have you had any experience with solvents? especially deodorant cans? what is the ingredient in them that makes you high just wondering :D
 
Yes, but im not really talking about dxm. Caus im pretty sure it had no dxm in it. But I could be wrong soo, is there a solvent discussion room?
 
This thread is silly.

There's 2 kinds of (psychoactive) cough syrup -
1. DXM ("non-drowsy")
2. opiate (morphine, codeine, hydrocodone)

plus the others that don't make you feel good ;)

Oh! Wait a second. Some cough syrups have alcohol in them as the primary ingredient... maybe that's what you got 'high' off of.

Solvents are unhealthy and as such we do not discuss them here.

Anyway I'm closing this long, rambly thread.
