^IMO/IME the efficiency of box-whip vapes is entirely dependent upon the skill of the person using it. If you use one everyday, you learn how to be very efficient with it.

True, but a pack is still never as efficient or full-flavored as Volcano bags AFAIK.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Arizer Extreme yet. Almost all the features the volcano has at half the price.... I just got mine, and I get bags just as good as my friend's volcano, plus I've got the option to use the whip.

I didn't get the Arizer V-Tower Extreme like gravatic here, but I got a regular Arizer V-Tower for christmas. The difference between the Extreme is the regular V-Tower doesn't have the bag or the fan, just the tube whip. It cost me $200 canadian and I saw the Extreme for $300 canadian. I christened it today with weed, hash and kiff and it seems like a good option if you don't want to spend as much on a Volcano, but the Volcano is definitely better. You might need to be more careful with the V-Tower compared to the Volcano, but if you keep good care of it, it definitely seems worth the price. Al though a Volcano seems ideal

if your budget it fairly stout then by all means look into the hotbox or maybe that Aromed that has been talked about.

As Roger&Me stated the efficacy of these vapes depends on the competence of the user, i love the shit outta mine but i have had friends come over, take a pull, suck thier ass off and then get upset b/c "i dont think i got a good hit man". so anyways just search around and eventually you will have to decide if you want quality or price. but if you want both i recommend the hot box vaporizers

i bought one on ebay,brand new,for $35 plus 10 shipping.its lasted over a year but i just hate the taste of vaporizers.completly destroys the taste of the bud.if you dont care what it tastes like buy a vaporizer,but if you appreciate the indivual taste of each bud i would recommend against purchasing one.

Wow, every time I see this thread on the Bluelight main page I happen to be smoking my Volcano Digit. I've definitely broken even already in terms of conserving due to its effectiveness.

hendrix62892: you paid next to nothing for a low-end product; what kind of quality did you expect? In terms of taste, not much is better than a Volcano or equivalent vaporizer.

i got a slightly used easy vape off craigslist for only $50 dollars (US). my friend has had his up and running for about 3 months now or so it is still in great, working condition. be careful with it though because it isnt a brick shithouse. but it does the job.

Pros: it vaporizes my weed and gets me really high off a smaller amount of weed The blue LED light adds to the atmosphere of having infected mushroom blasting. flashing LED glowballs. and the blue light coming off the dial.

cons: it doesnt feel very durable. not unstable. just. not durable. temperature isnt accurate. you gota learn your vaporizer and adjust accordingly

conclusion: just keep it at home and unplug when your not using it (duh?) use common sense when taking care of it. and it should last you many long. highs.

The high is excellent, it lasts forever and is incredibly clear.

what does that mean exactly? i rely on weed for sleep a lot. is the high still debilitating and enough to put you @ ease? or is it more energizing, etc?

It still depends on the bud itself, but for me hitting a Volcano while relaxing is like lowering myself into a crypt and closing the doors... At the same time, the high seems more versatile than smoking. For example, if I have work to do, I don't get burnt out like I sometimes do when I smoke. I can keep going. You can catch different highs at different temperature settings also, if you just want a high to go out and work with you might smoke a few bags at a lower setting, then come home and finish the pack off with some higher temperatures.

So in short: yes!

sounds like that 35$ P.O.S. you bought on ebay was probably not vaping properly if you werent noticing all the individual nuances of different buds. I personally feel the exact opposite, in that even though smoking is nice, when i vape all the good oils are basically only releasing and just make the hits taste amazing and give a great insight into the nugs taste n such

^Yeah I agree. At this point, its almost unfathomable that I used to buy sacks of dank weed and then light it on fire-- what a waste! Vaporizers taste better, are less harmful, and get you higher.

Hash tastes amazing, and it feels like a cleaner high. Now that I have one, I can't believe it took me this long to get a good vaporizer.
