So I'm thinking of picking up a vaporizer, but I can't justify sending like £300 on one, do you think there is much difference in the way of quality with cheaper modles? And if so, in what way. Does it make much difference to "the smoke" or quality of the high depending on how much you pay?

Would you recomend a cheapish Vape for me? Or should I stick with a lightbulb vape, which I am going to make when I get home :)

I just bought a vapor genie for about 90 bucks Canadian and i find it great! Looks just like a pipe and it needs no electricity. You can use it otg or at home. Best investment ever!

if I were to shell out change for a vape, it would be for a volcano. The others break pretty fast. If you go in knowing your 90 $ will probably only last you 3-6 months, you won't be disappointed. You get what you pay for.

Well if you are only vaping and are a consistent bud user i'd say save up for the $300 ones.
If you just want a vape for a couple of months or want to see what their like get the cheap ass ones.

Having owned two volcanoes, a hot box, a vapor box, a vapir, and also having vaped out of my buddy's AroMed many times, I definitely think the AroMed is the best value. Its comparably priced to the volcano, and it delivers the cleanest hit imaginable-- additionally, it conserves much more bud than the volcano does.

Vaporization is the way to go, IMO..how much money is healthy pair of lungs worth to you, ya know?

I bought a Vapor-rite at my local head shop for very cheap recently because it was on sale. I have also used an aroma therapy vaporizer. I really think vaporizers are one place where it is worth it to spend the extra money. I like my cheap vapor-rite but it isn't everything i expected it to be.

How big is this AroMed? Can I conceal the thing in a room that others venture into?

I bought a $120 vaporwarez maybe 3-4 years ago, still going strong and I love the shit outta this thing. Still working just as great as it was when I first bought it too. Completely Completely worth the money.

^I was just looking at that, looks intriguing.

Anyone have recommendations on portable designs?

Spend as much as you feel comfortable spending when buying a Vaporizer. But, if I were you, I'd buy a good-quality one so that it hits well and lasts long.

Well, I tried a lightbulb, and meh... To be honest, got more from a spliff. But I understand that probably isn't a true representation of a propper vape.

It looks like Volcaino is the way to go. I smoke a fair amount, and looks like it may be worth splashing the money out. Cleaner lungs do sound nice, but I do love a nice spleef.

Well, lets see what santa brings me ;)

Volcano
AroMed
Silver Surfer

In that order. I love my Volcano, it was worth every penny. I can get 8-10 1ft. Easy Bags to one .3-.4 pack of high-quality material. The high is excellent, it lasts forever and is incredibly clear. Vaporizers are excellent in terms of health (harm reduction), thrift, etc.

Having used the box-whip vapes before, they are not very effective in getting the most out of a pack compared to the three aforementioned products.

^IMO/IME the efficiency of box-whip vapes is entirely dependent upon the skill of the person using it. If you use one everyday, you learn how to be very efficient with it.

What is a box whip vape? i feel like that may be what my vaporizer, the vapor-rite, is. here is a pic of it:

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Arizer Extreme yet. Almost all the features the volcano has at half the price.... I just got mine, and I get bags just as good as my friend's volcano, plus I've got the option to use the whip.
