cortisol and opiate/opioids

this isn't in itself an 'advanced question' or even necessarily a 'drug' question.... but it will get lost (and likely unanswered) elsewhere

i am curious as to whether anyone knows journals (or reputable articles) that are published publically online that discuss both sides of the controversy regarding whether or not opioids effect cortisol levels.... (or two articles, covering each side).

if you somehow find too many to chose from know that i've only studied neuroscience at an undergraduate level.

Here is the perfect article I was looking for.

Self administration, in monkeys, with a postive control. Fentanyl self administered in rhesus monkeys, doesn't inhibits the HPA axis, and hence reduces cortisol levels.
