15 drops is a regular dose for adults, I've just taken 35 drops and the activity of normethadone is right there but i'm worried about the 4-hydroxyephedrine.

Anyone with any experience with these cough drops? I'm feeling opiated yet having a fast heartbeat, which is explained by the ephedrine compound obviously...
 
After taking the dose, I gotta say normethadone isn't that great of an opioid, it sure sent into a nod where I wake up 4 hours later but euphoria-wise it isn't very good, i prefer high dose codeine really.

It left me feeling real beat up after waking up and the desire to redose is there still, heh.

How long is methadone's buzz anyway? I'm guessing 8 to 12 hours from the knowledge I acquired, so normethadone's effects should be shorter since it's a metabolite of a stronger drug right?

Man, this stuff must be old, I thought they discontinued it in the 80's.
 
Ah, now I understood that this is a cough-medicine, not an analgesic or such.

From that perspective the ephedrine addition seems very reasonable.
 
I don't think this is still being made though. It seems that it's been discontinued in Canada. Or am I wrong?
