Hey,

Havent cooked with bud in a while, completely forget how much to put in. I have about a quarter of vaped bud, looking to cook with it. There are 6-7 of us that want some ganja food, and 2 of them have never eaten ganja food. My frends dont really smoke, so they dont want them to be too intense.

Any suggestions?

probably depends more on how vaped the bud is more than anything else. provided it has some goodness in it still, should be ok for some lightweights?

thats true, but he does have a very small quantity of vaped bud, and we dont know how much he vaped it yet either. IME some planning has to go into vaping weed and then making cannabutter out of it, if you kill it in the vape your butter isnt going to be very interesting. the only reason i bring this up is because depending on how much you vaped it and at what temperature, it might be a better idea to save up a bit more vaped weed before u turn it into food for that many people. ive only used vaped weed twice though so feel free to ignore me :)

If you can cook it and feel the effects of THC then you aren't using the vapouriser properly,

You can/should be able to cook with vaped weed. It's one of the large benefits of it, you save up a shit ton of your vaped trees and then use it for oil/butter, a nice double whammy that you can't get with good old fire.

^ Oh, dude, I am not doubting that, LOL. It's just doable. Personally it's not something I would be doing (I don't really enjoy vaping as much as smoking an L), but I know many people who do and make kickass edibles out of it.

i put an ounce of vaped weed into less than a stick of butter...... and split it in 2 with my girl in some rice crispies. WOW so high.

oh and YERG- depending on what temperature is used other cannabinoids along with THC can be left behind in minute amounts.

I know people that make green dragon out of vaped bud, and considering some people vape it at low temperatures instead of putting it in the oven anyways I dont see why it wouldnt work.

Cooking with vaped weed is a waste. Like a previous poster said, if your vapouriser is working properly and vapourising all the THC, cooking with the remains will only have CBD and stuff like that, and will just make you burn out really hard.... After doing it twice, I never save the stuff anymore. Total waste of an evening.

obviously lots of people here dont realise that lots of people like to eat weed because its incredibly different.

now based on that assumption lets take it further, and assume that you KNOW you want to eat some, despite the fact that you have a vaporizer!

now, for you less bright cookies, ill take it even further for you. lets say, nex ttime you use the vape, because you want some edibles, you turn the vape temp down a little, or fill a few less bags. that way you get high from the vape now, but you can also use the vaped weed VERY effectively for food later on as well!

what a smart guy.

this is of course requiring you to have SOME forethought and planning.

sorry.

Meh, I'd rather vapourise my weed properly and cook with fresh bud. Vapourised weed is gross, but to each his own I guess.
