Hi,
some guy I know tried to explain to me what he do with his ketamine.
He put the ketamine with some water in a bowl, then put in the microwave/oven to make the water go away. After this, he take something hard to crush it so it gets really fine powder.
He says in his "raw" form, the ketamine he gets is like salt, granule.<

Then it made me thinking, are the people doing this only so they can cut it with scrap ?
Are they making this only for it to be easier snorted ?
I mean, putting it in a bowl with water and then evaporing the water wouldn't reduce the strenght of it ??

so he takes crystal k and then dissolves it and then evaporates ? i dont know why he would do that but it won't lose potency or anything
i used to do that with sealed vials - open it, pour it on a flat plate, put the plate on top of a pot with boiling water and for about 20-30 mins your ready
i used to leave it slightly moist - its much more pleasurable to snort that way :)

No, it wouldn't.

The only time I have heard of people evaporating ketamine is if they buy it in liquid solution. If he gets solid crystal ketamine he can just crush it, adding water and cooking it off again will do nothing at all but waste his time.

He probably evaporating the already diluted ketamine, which comes in pharmaceutic vials. Liquid solution for injection.
An idea why people "cook" ketamine is that not everybody wan't IV ir IM injections.

I've known people to prefer dissolving k in water then evaporating to obtain a finer powder that's more pleasant and effective to snort. In a large city near me, there's a widespread myth that k is dangerous unless it's "re-cooked", but still, I understand why people would do it.

Wait I am so confused as to the purpose of this, for texture? I've been a pretty heavy K user for most my life and I have never even heard a hint or spoken word of this. Ketamine salt is already in a crystalline form and because of it's analgesic effects it's one of the easiest things to snort. Completely numbs the nose. Shit at times I even do a point of it before MDMA and other compounds just so I don't have to deal with the burn. Please someone tell me why they do this?!

There is no point to this. If you want a fine powder, just take a razor blade to chop it up, take a heavy object with a flat surface and press it down on the k on a hard surface, then use a plastic card to chop it up again, repeat any individual process as needed, then use the plastic card to make lines. No need to dissolve it in water to only evap it again
