Ok I know there have probably been about a million threads on this but search is down so bear with me... I've tried a few diff ways of cooking k.. This weekend was the first time I tried the stove top plate over the boiling water method and holy crap the k was strong as hell.. I've done the microwave method and noticed a conciderable difference between the 2.. Now I've air-dried one liq and it was great but unfortunatly i've only gotten to air dry white label ketamine or the yellow label ketaset. I haven't gotten to air dry the blue ketamina yet.. Do you guys notice a major difference between air drying and the stove top method? (potency wise)

There's a difference between knowing the path, and walking the path

i honestly can tell a difference.. I used to cook k over boiling water and it would take about 10-15 mins.. but the k was always weak... didnt konw why.. then i put some in the oven on <200... that shit was incredible. It cooked for about 50 mins and the plate was so cool when i got it out i could grab it with my hands out of the oven.
heat degrades ANY compound

I've always used the oven method and always had a good strong batch of K. Although, I've never had any bad or weak K. Atleast I don't know if I have or not. Shit. I just confused myself again.

actually, i don't think it's the heat. ketamine can survive being refluxed in decalin (at ~190°C) for 2.5 hours, although in water things may be different. it's possible, i don't know. most of these subjective experiences just don't make sense. =)
a major advantage to evaporating it slowly is that the vapor above a solution is not 100% solvent. if you heat your solution above boiling water (that's a steam bath, btw) then the vapor will contain some k; it's especially bad if you can see water droplets. if you just evaporate it at room temperature, the vapor pressure of ketamine will be practically nothing and you should get higher yields. microwaves are NOT a good idea; you could actually cause chemical changes like that, at least in theory.

People, ketamine is ketamine is ketamine - the method of cooking does NOT do anything to the potency of the drug itself, but yes, the stovetop method will often see some ketamine lost to the air - but the final product is the same..

PAK CHOOIE UNF! Do not trust the pusher robot, he is malfunctioning, we are here to protect you..

you can avoid a LITTLE of the evaporation troubles by covering the plate with another plate, leaving a SMALL crack for the droplets to leave. That way most of the evaporating k gets stuck to the top. I tried that and got an extra 3/4 of a jar out of a liq.

Phreex.... dont do this to me....
I have cooked the shit in a 500+degree gas oven for 5 mins and come out with a product that I would do about 50mg and not feel anything much... same brand cooked at warm for aobut 45 mins kicked my ass at that level... so PLEASE lets not start this AGAIN!.. haha
and dude, if you want me to send you samples .. then hell... i will...

Newtocid....
I think thats the best way too...We call it the UFO. Placing another plate, over the K plate always gives you a little extra treat while scrapping..

Bumps?

I LEAVE DUMPS, NOT TAKE THEM!

Look guys - quit fighting about it.
If you do K much, you know straight out that the same dosage affects you differently depending on many factors. A point snorted one day will scribble you, and the next day it'll not get you anywhere near the same level.
You can't correlate experiences on K prepared one way to those prepared another way unless you are prepared to do it dozens of times and find some sort of average.
There are different types of K (http://www.bluelight.ru/ubb/Forum19/HTML/007065.html?reload=13), but the cooking process is only supposed to remove liquids, so whatever method you use won't really start affecting the potency of the K unless you burn it, at which point I suspect it'd just decrease.
There's no magic to cooking. If you leave it dry in the sun it'll be just as good. You aren't affecting the Ketamine - just the suspension liquids.

yeah i agree that heat shouldn't affect it
it's made by a thermal rearrangement from 1-hydroxycyclopentyl o-chlorophenyl N-methylimine at ~190°C for 2.5 hours.
so obviously a short time at 100° won't destroy it. except if you lose some vapor. uh, try distilling it =) as slow as you can, it'll still only take like half an hour at the most... try doing it fractionally, with a glass tube packed with glass beads or something... =P

goddamnit.. yall get off yer ass... go get a hook up... cookhalf that shit on 500deg and half at 200.... see which is better...
AF has experience with this.. AF got a V, cooked it fast(500 in gas oven 5min it was ready)..it sucked.. did 100mg felt pretty drunk thats it.... THREE DAYS LATER gets another vile.. cooks half at warm (45-50min) leave rest to sit underneath fan and lamp for 5 hrs.... the shit cooked slower and cooler was better.... my God how many times do we have ot go over this

Oh for crying out loud...
Wow - I buffed some scratches out of my car with super fine-grained paper. Then I tried it with a sledgehammer and it didn't work so good...
Ketamine hydrochloride itself melts at a hair over 260 degrees celcius. Cooking at 500 degrees is gonna break down the product. Of COURSE it'll degrade the product.
Sun dry it, boil it out, distill it, do whatever you like - it'll still be the same strength product when you're done.
Flash-fry it at 500 degrees and whine about how it sucks and you deserve to have cruddy product.
Recognize the fact that you're not COOKING anything, preferably, and if you are, that's not a good thing.

hye man I didnt know the damn thing was at 500!! haha it was my pals gas oven... never used it before...
