Are you so full of yourself that you think that YOU are what the ancient scriptures were referring to when they spoke of the one true God? Or maybe you place your FAITH and WORSHIP in something else?
We are full of ourselves most of the time. Fashion. Are you prettier than her? Are you stronger than him? Is your body perfect or perpetually getting there? Gotta get the number 1 off. Gotta look out for number 1.
Selflessness? What is this concept? For the most part, obsession with "ego" plays a huge part in our daily lives. Ego is a lie. There is no ego. You spend so much time trying to shatter it... when it was never really there to begin with. If you just believe that there is no ego, then your ego problems begin to disappear back to the nothingness from which they came. Rebirth. It doesn't take drugs, just the mind, and faith.
Placebo is your friend or your enemy. What do you want to believe? This is your reality, whatever it is. Do you believe that the prescriptions are really working miracles in your life? Is it actually just the BELIEF in the pill that makes you well again? Ditch the pill and use your faith (placebo). In order to have strength, you must find it first.
What kind of world do you want to live in? What kind of change do you want to see in the people around you? Lead by example. People will follow. We are ALL sheep, following ideas. Have you ever observed the sheep? How you present yourself to the people around you, is how they try to respond. So, do you want people to be polite to you? Do you want people to not bitch at you all the time? What do you want?
The choice is yours. Follow your heart and search for only truth. Discard the lies. Call them lies when you see them and cast them out of your life. Just because you can feel something, doesn't make it true. Likewise, just because you can't feel something, doesn't make it a lie.
