(answered) Constant Thread Closing - Why?

Hey guys,

the last few times I've posted something on BlueLight, I've had LeftWing close it and send me messages telling me how I post things that have already been addressed, and that I refuse to use the search tool, and he is not gonna put up with it any longer etc etc etc... He gave me an infraction for my last post as well, and I really dont understand why--- I tried to use the search tool and couldn't find my questions answered at all so I dont really understand where he's coming from.

Here were my questions:

1.) I noticed that when snorting roxie 15's / 30's-- they crush up extra fine and the powder goes in your lungs and when you cough, you see the dust. I had a trip to the ER because of shortness with breath after snorting some, and I wanted to discuss this pill in particular to see if others had similar issues. THis isnt a general snorting health thread, its a Roxi Snorting thread because I think they are particularly dangerous. I got PMs from people answering my question because LeftWing closed it twice and ppl wanted to discuss it.

2.) A doctor made a comment on the color of my blood being related to drug use a few years back.. I wanted to discuss if blood color really had any relation to drug use etc. I received an infraction from LeftWing for this post and a mean message about how stubborn I am.

I took to the search engine and found nothing about the above two topics. Can you guys find anything? If so, could you possibly link me and show me how I am using the engine wrong? All I can find for #1 is first my post on OC & Lung Issues from when I had shortness of breath, and for #2 things about color of vein vs artery blood. I'd appreciate you guys showing me where this info is because I cant help but feel LeftWing is picking on me. I can imagine this behavior from him if my posts said "Is IVing pills good for you?", or "Whats the best way to take morphine?" or something but my questions people actually wanted to discuss....

have you discussed this with leftwing? i'd suggest you drop him a pm and discuss this using that channel - as suggested in the greenlighters' guide:

Do not lose your cool over a simple misunderstanding. Take a deep breath and try to do this:

• The post will state which moderator closed it. Send them a PM to ask why it was closed.
• Be polite. There is no need to be overly angry or belligerent – this will only make things worse.
• Clearly indicate your question or problem. If you just want an explanation, ask for one. If you disagree with their stated reason for their actions, say why you disagree. Don’t leave them guessing.
• Include a link to the thread in question. This makes it easier for them to know what you are talking about, rather than having to dig.
• Be patient. Moderators have lives, too.
• Please remember that it is not uncommon for a poster's polite inquiry or request for clarifcation to result in a thread being re-opened.

Perhaps you could make a general thread in Healthy Living or Science & Technology about what sorts of factors can change blood color? Busy focus forums can be the wrong place for general curiosity type questions.

Yea I know... Its just that after I made the first roxie forum ppl were PMing me because they wanted to discuss it, and before it was closed people were interested in discussing it--- I tried to research the answer and found nothing, so I figured he made a mistake so I reposted it with a msg to him saying I found no evidence of this being discussed.

Anyway... the bottom line is I see people post things far more redundant than my posts I am not sure why he wants to pick on me but it doesn't seem fair... My ?'s have a right to be discussed and answered

if people are posting things which you identify as redundant, you are asked to report them to bring them to the attention of the forum staff.

you are asking a lot of questions. leftwing has the answers to your questions. drop him a pm.

My rule of thumb on BL is that even with active members correspondence can have 3-5 day lags. A half a day is not enough time to even begin to think you are being ignored in my opinion. Patience young Skywalker

I also think that you misunderstand the point of the megathreads on the site or at the very least disagree with how they are used and that has lead to some problems. You really can't have a thread for insufulating every brand of pill and obviously the health risks are going to be very similar for all of them.

I disagree-- the health risks AREN'T going to be the same for all pills. Different pills have different ingredients and consistency... After snorting Roxies, I ended up in the ER shortly after so I thought it deserved a special mention. that thread you linked me btw is from 2008 and has only a single mention of roxi, hardly a wealth of information on roxi snorting to make my roxi questions worthy of being reprimanded for posting...

My point is that I had my last three threads closed & received an infraction & nasty letter because LeftWing seems to think I am discussing redundant topics and refusing to use the search tool, and when I try to search for the answers they are no where in site and no one has showed me this litany of conversation that supposedly is always occurring about Roxi Snorting Health & the reasons for changes in blood color. I see much stupider posts than mine on BL always that aren't closed, so I cant help but think Lefty wants to pick on me for some reason.

Oxycontin megathread is closed btw... I dont want to be an ass and want to respect BL; i'll post in the megathreads from now on for specific questions. I'd like to know, however, how to find this info i'm looking for with the search tool and what keywords you all used to find it because I cant find barely any answers, and my threads keep being closed because apparently these topics are already talked to death by people on BL-- so there must be a ton of info im missing somehow.

Jay, as has been mentioned here by several people, the correct way to go about this is to PM the mod in question and give them a few days to respond. You have to remember that this is a world wide forum so you are not going to get a response right away. If you still feel like you are being wronged, you may go to another mod or an admin, but chances are if they agree with the original mod, its time to rethink the situation.

The rest of this, your argument for your specific thread, etc, this is not the place for it.

sorry for jumping on toes and replying to a closed thread but i feel i need to make something clear.

jay, i sent you many verbal instructions in threads of yours that i'd either moved and in the one or two threads i closed (not many as you claimed) and even sent you PM's to which you never even acknowledged which is a huge sign of disrespect. so don't make out you're innocent and haven't been in the wrong.
