I just got my EZ test in the mail yesterday (ive used a similar test before so i know how to use it) but i was reading the instructions sheet, and it said you have to throw away the tube after you use it once! what the heck does that mean? what tube, the clear plastic tube it was shipped in? and if so why, i dont understand?

Ok.. Where did you get your test from? Was it from EZ-Test in the Netherlands, or somewhere else?
Is the liquid in a glass bottle, or a plastic tube?
If its in a small plastic tube, you've been sold expired, old EZ-Test reagent.

Yes, this is our mistake. When we made the leaflet for the LARGE EZ Test we overlooked this. All leaflets state that you should dispose of it after one use, that is incorrect of course. That was the information for the small EZ Test. Since we are still not rich from EZ Test we can't afford to throw 'em all out and print new ones. On the other hand, there are actually very few people who notice it, I guess hardly anyone reads the leaflet ???
Anyway, it is not good of course, just like the fact that DXM is not mentioned on our leaflet.
However, things are being fixed. Not with this test but with the new one !
Sorry for the confusion on the current leaflet.
The story with the small EZ Test is something else. We already decided to stop selling that abroad because people/sellers/shops/etc. would always forget to keep 'em cool. This was a condition for the small EZ Test as they were packed in plastic and go brown if not kept cold. However, we still sold small EZ Tests quite OK in The Netherlands to smartshops (with fridges to keep the mushies fresh). Then one day our supplier of the tubes fucked up. They changed the plastic without telling us and one week after we send out our orders to the Dutch shops everything was returned because the change in the plastic caused all of them to leak after 2-3 days (It ate the plastic). That was a very big bummer... and since the factory was unwilling to change the plastic to the original composition, the very first EZ Test that we invented in 1997 is now gone.... It might be a collectors item one day ;-)
