confused, need some help

so back story been married 10 years. hubby seems to like drugs. doesnt do hard drugs often but wont deny them if offered. the confused part im having is, ive asked him to only smoke weed but he has a liking to loratabs, no doz, and addrell. i have never seen him do these things. He tells me he is not addicted but is gone a while on the same day of the month. he has left his family alone to go do them. he says that he crushes them by putting them in a bill and chewing them and then snorts them. im not sure how bad he is into them or what as this is all the info i have he lies about having them i dont know if he buys them and he can do a whole loratab 10 in a matter of hours. he had 5 pills on friday and they were gone by monday. i never seen him do them or leave to do them. Help me to figure out if he has a problem before its too late

Addiction is defined in my opinion is the compulsive behavior to seek out drugs with little care about the possible consiquences. If you feel that it is becoming a problem in his or your life, and he is unable to identify this fact, then he very well may be developing a habit that can soon become an addiction. Perhaps address it to him and let him know that you are concerned that it may escalate.

Thank you. I have tried the heart to heart with him on this because in his cycles he has left us every weekend for 2 years to do them or what not. He has addictive tendencies. He got very addicted to "pirates cove" which damn near killed him. I believe with my heart that he has this under control im just scared he will lose that control. I know he hangs with ppl that can do alot of pills and he has been right there with them but they were not his. so i dont know. I myself do no drugs, smoke pot like 2 times a year lol, but im not new to the drug scene either. I just want to understand it without getting my hands dirty per say.
