Confused About Mixing GHB With Ket

I've searched the forum but I'm still confused. So can someone please clarify this for me?
On Erowid I read...
"Ketamine should not be used with respiratory depressants, primarily alcohol"
I know that GHB is a depressant like alcohol. Is a depressant the same as a respiratory depressant?
I know that ket + alcohol = bad combination, also that GHB + alcohol = bad combination. But, is ket + GHB a bad combination?
If so, why does Phreex say it is safe?

I'm all most positive that ketamine increases your heart rate, not slow it down. At least from my experiences.
From Erowid: "...it is still used for some limited human applications because it does not depress breathing or circulation."
Maybe that helps a bit.

Yeah, ket doesn't depress breathing but it shouldn't be used with respiratory depressants.

From the Patent of GHB:

GHB does not therefore itself act as a respiratory depressant, but it may possibly potentiate the respiratory depressive effect of other anaesthetics.
Since ketamine doesn't depress respiratoration either, you should be fine with this combo. Of course, start out small and don't overdo it. There will be a synergy in the effects FELT by the two of them. So you should make sure you don't do more than you can handle.

I acknowledged that there is a low risk - but it's just that, a low risk... ketamine isn't a respiratory depressant, so while GHB + Ketamine might knock you out, it wont kill you...

So,
Alcohol is a depressant and a respiratory depressant.
GHB is a depressant and should not be mixed with other depressants (e.g. alcohol).
Ket is neither but should not be mixed with respiratory depressants (e.g. alcohol).
But it is OK to mix ket with GHB.
This is assuming that a depressant is not the same as a respiratory depressant. Does anyone know if this is correct?
Sorry to be a pain but I like to get things clear in my head (before I mess with it, hehe)

Alright...
GHB = CNS depressant, can cause respiratory apea..
ALCOHL = CNS depressant - much the same as above, except you really have to drink alot before you stop breathing or have a heart attack..
KETAMINE - CNS depressant, however, it doesn't depress respiratory functions..
COMBOS:
GHB + KETAMINE = fine
GHB + ALCOHOL = bad, very bad, avoid
KETAMINE + ALCOHOL = some problems can arise, and I mean, why even bother mixing the two? If you're going to trip on ketamine it doesnt matter if you got a beer buzz, the ketamine will rocket you way past that - so eliminate ALL risk and just stick to the ketamine ...

I'd like to add that Ketamine + alcohol is an extremely unpleasant experience if not used in the right balance.
I have had this happen to me twice (shouldn't have happened the 2nd time, but I was drunk and of course forgot all necessary precaution ) but both time I've had quite a bit to drink without bumping K until right at the end when I've had a small line, suddenyl felt extremely ill, the laid in bed for about 2hours with stomach cramps and bad nausea.
I think the rules here are similar to the old weed adage "grass and beer you're in the clear, beer and grass yer on yer arse"

I'd like to add my $.02 in here. I loooooove bumping k when I drink alcohol. For me, it's an awesome combination. I've never felt even the slightest bit nauseated with the combo, although I do realize that a lot of people have a different reaction to the two together.
G and K together, however, worked out poorly for both me and my friend that tried it. We both got sick the nausea didn't pass until we sobered up.

I can only speak from my experience mixing the two.
