Concurrent Administration of 5HTP

It is a common thing to take 5-HTP after MDMA, other stims and whatnot.
However is there any knowledge about taking 5-HTP at or around the same time as MDMA? Anyone have any personal experiences or know of any sources to information that would satisfy this question?
 
I read one trip report on erowid where the author mentioned he would occasionally "boost" low doses of MDMA with concurrent administration of 5-HTP to great effect. In that experience however he ended up giving himself Serotonin syndrome with that exact same combination. Doesn't seem worth it to me personally.
