I'm prescribed the 54mg dose of Concerta. Lately, the effectiveness of this dose has declined, it's not working nearly as well as it was when I started taking this dose. My question: what could I do to boost the effectiveness? And what can I do to potentiate it's effects? Not taking over my daily dose, but I want to make the most of the dose. Thanks to anyone who replies to this and helps:)new member to bluelight

Howdy Kyle.
Looks like you found at least four other places to post already, but thought I'd show someone did read your first one.

And maybe somebody's introduced you to everyone's bastard uncle, "tolerance". It's a thing that happens to every medication, drug and substance, even the placebos, and there's really nothing to be done.

Lol thanks for the reply. I am aware of tolerance, I occasionally take tolerance breaks, but admittedly, it's hard to do. I heard magnesium can help prevent tolerance from several sources, not sure how this works, but I was wondering if there any other things I can take to boost the effectiveness. I am going to try magnesium oxide with my dose to see if this makes much of a difference.
