Concerta questions?

I hate Concerta. I took about 20 Concerta 54mg, 1080 mg in total, but I don't feel anything, as if i didn't take them. It's not normal? I don't understand why concertan don't help, I have heard that Ritalin is better huh, what is it that makes it better? Content?
 
Thanks for using the search engine, but I think that this last post doesn't warrant bringing back an old thread on with a title that isn't totally suited to your question so will move your question into it's own thread.
 
Concerta is Ritalin, just in an extended release version. They are both Methylphenidate. But pertaining to your question, the answer be no, that's not normal at all man. How long have you been taking the Concerta?... :?

And by the way, what would "make Ritalin better" would probably be the instant release aspect of it, so it hits you all at once instead of spread out over several hours ;)
 
Yaa I hate Concerta to. I get no recreational effect by it. Instead I just get restless anxiouse and jittery. Try getting Focalin it's kinda like the extracted version of Concerta where you only get the part that gets you high.
 
you must be some metabolic freak of nature if your body can take in all that MPH and not feel ANYTHING. i dont know this for a fact, but i feel like that much concerta could kill someone, at least a stimulant naive person.
 
That's insane. You would have had 237.6mg release instantly and if that doesn't do it, who knows what.
 
As everyone else that is most definitely NOT normal. If you just took it, my advice would be to hold on because you will be feeling it shortly - with that much MPH though be prepared not sleep tonight heh.

Not to freak you out but Perkecet is right about that. Do you have charcoal around your house? The kind you grill with will work (but NOT the kind presoaked with lighter fluid i.e. Match Light) You should crush some up, mix with water and drink. Hold it down as long as you can because it'll soak up any stomach contents into the charcoal, then drink more til you puke it all up. It's pretty simple, it's what we do when we respond to an OD. (but not with a bag of grilling charcoal obviously 8))

Annnnd in the case you've already taken that dosage before and you had no problems whatsoever then disregard that stuff above because you my friend are seriously lacking some metabolizers and are a true oddity! 8o

hmm.. maybe you had a bad set and setting

how many times have you done it?

maybe give it another try when you're happier and in a better social .. or for the "weirdos" alone situation
 
Yeah it been a couple of hours now.. about 12.. i just feel a little bit weird.. i haven't take that much before.. and i think yes, I believe will be able to sleep too.. =)
 
eating 20 of an extended release stimulate(or any xr drug) is not smart. I have taken concerta for about 7 years now and it works if you let it. The main reason it is prescribed is the fact that it is extended release and tamper proof(not a fact,but beside the point,that kind of info-how to tamper/abuse it, definitely does not belong here) fucking around with time release meds is dangerous-many times fatal. there is a GREAT deal of info here on concerta. I hope future inquiries or curiosities will begin with educating yourself first.

WTF you took 1080mg oc methylphenidate ( concerta..). and you dont feel anything. Thats not right, i doubt you acctually took 20 of the 54mg because all i need is literally 1 of those and some alcohol and i feel like iam on cocaine.

just because you said only 237.6mg is released instantly i have to say your wasting your concertas the way to take em. Dont swallow the damn pill from start. Cut it open and take what you need ( outer layer and white/pinkish part of the pill) Then parachute that and guess what happen. All the concerta is immediate release lool.
