Hi there, I made you your own thread rather than bumping an old one - we encourage people to do that in here so your query doesn't get lost.
I don't know the answer to your question though I am afraid, Concerta is not widely available here and I've not come across it. Hopefully someone else does

I haven't had any concerta pills where any parts were pink but this should help...
The outer-most layer, as you seemed to understand, is IR methylphenidate. Then there is a hard shell and inside the hard shell are 2 more layers of methylphenidate and then the 'push compartment' (that is green in this image) that is not active. It's purpose is to fill up with water and gradually push the suspended methylphenidate out.
If you are trying to make the pills IR, dissolve the outer-coating in water or suck it off, cut the shell off, dispose of the 'push compartment' and grind up the rest. It will still gel when it comes into contact with water so this doesn't completely defeat the abuse-resistance but it defeats MOST of the time release so it's more suitable for oral recreational use.

hey man thanks for the responsonse. to be a little more specific though, i was wondering, do i have to crush up the white/pink layer before parachuting it or can i just throw it in my mouth while its still covered with that second gel layer, or will that gel layer around it still make it time release.

The gel layer IS the time release, it's what prevents it from all dissolving at once.

^ I wouldn't if it were possible, trying to smoke it with all those binders and fillers present will lead to nasty combustion products that aren't good for you.
It certainly is possible to smoke methylphenidate, I haven't done that but I've smoked plenty of ethylphenidate and did so by freebasing it with baking soda and a touch of water. Same idea for methylphenidate apparently, do a search you will find some information I'm sure.

concerta is the shittiest CII stimulant available,it has an abuse proof mechanism along with a 12 hour delayed duration. all u can do is chew em,methylphenidate is horrible to begin with even in instant release form, but for it to be as sophisticated as this, no good...
