hello there,

it's my first post and i did quite a long search on google to find some information on this topic, but nobody has a subtle answer.
i used to enjoy intranasal ethylphenidate when it was still legal in my country but i can't now. they've banned a HUGE list of rc's in a single law. my doctor prescribed me with 54mg xr concerta pills but i don't tend to use them daily since i don't need it's effects in my daily life, only when studying etc. so that i have some spare concerta pills for every month's prescription, i want to use them recreationally.

i have some experience in basic chemistry both from my education and my experiences, but not in synthesizing illicit drugs.

here what came to my mind about a simple extraction of mph(methylphenidate) from concerta pills lately;
can we just let the concerta pills sit in warm water for a fair amount of time(~12hrs) and let the OROS system(the slow osmotic release mechanism of concerta) release all the active methylphenidate into water without the oily/liphophillic inert fillers? i'm not sure but i think since we'll going to have only water soluble compounds in water after letting it sit for a while, we can then evaporate the pure water from the solution(i know it's going to take a very long time) then snort the residue for instant rush. i'm fine with water soluble inactive fillers up in my nose, because the waxy fillers of concerta are responsible for making the nasal absorption difficult by trapping the active mph in it.

i would like to know a direct method including quickly evaporating solvents like acetone and a variety of alcohols but i was not able to find a solid information on this.

to shorten the main question:
does concerta pills release any waxy compounds into our stomach or pure water?

thanks for all your opinions.

this is not really neuroscience or pharmacology, concerta extraction has been discussed before... like ever since it came to the market.

does concerta pills release any waxy compounds into our stomach or pure water?

of course they release waxy compounds into your stomach. the whole pill is ingested. it's not like it magically only delivers the methylphenidate and everything stays exactly where it was before.

did you really do quite a long search on google? come on.... bluelight is the second result for 'concerta extraction' ???
