I just thought I would ask everyone if any among you who use Speedballs/Snowballs regularly if they get a extremely large compulsion to clean/tidy up their home straight after a fix? It makes me wonder what other strange compulsions people get after using Crack in this way because it can seem to bring out some strange suppressed movements in me sometimes like cracking knuckles for instance (nothing too mental just suppressed).

I really think it gives me an OCD-like mindframe where I just want everything to be in order immediately. I've had quite a lot of experience with Amphetamines in the past and never had a tendency to go cleaning crazy, Snowballs are a different kettle of fish for me.

I just was wondering if anyone gets this way and may share their habits?

Random question having been asked, I'll point out that I am not glorifying opiates or crack, I've dug myself into a deep habit lately and I'm certainly full of regret! (Decided to get back on a Suboxone script and get clean).

PS, I am a newish member so Apologies to Mods if this is wrongly placed topic,

Peace =]

Stimulants always bring out any OCD I may have. Now that I don't use stims anymore, I still have minor OCD but its controllable.

Yeah man, I think I have been getting progressively worse on the OCD front as my habit has grown, it definitely end up spilling over to when I'm sober aswell, Changes the way I perform tasks etc, What stims did you use if you don't mind my asking 'thelostboys'?

I've used coca a handful times, adderall (hated it), phentermine & exctasy.......excstacy was the worst for me when it came to OCD.

Drank energy drinks for 6 months & stopped. Staying up all night was awesome when I was in college, etc......but now I like & need my sleep.

I hate the way people throw around the term OCD as if the desire to be clean and tidy is comparable to a severe mental health disorder.

When I come into the house, I put my sneakers/shoes in a certain spot & they have to be a certain angle.......how about if I see a piece of lint on my shirt, I can't let it sit there, I gotta wipe it off.

How about having to tell my girlfriend to not ever touch anything in my office no matter how unorganized everything seems to be......I have a mental organization of everything.

Wanting to clean your house isn't OCD......

Sorry for throwing the OCD term into the mix with my case. The house cleaning compulsion does not equate to OCD I realise that but there are other severe compulsions I have from time to time, that would probably fall under that banner, or something similar. I'm not suggesting being a neat person or having a compulsion to be neat is OCD though.

when i used to iv coke (more frequently) i used to write out these massive lists of things to do. From shopping to life changing ideas, business plans lol a load of junk. even way back when i was putting it up my nose. i to used to clean the kitchen, wash, dry + iron cloths. not just mine but all who lived the house. go on cooking mission ( actually food turned out great) so to sum it up blow kinda put me to hyper mode and how constructive i am will depend on my mood and location.

Thanks for reply =]

I would absolutely love to find a natural balance when I'm sober and just tap into that motivation to organise and 'sort out' I go too far with it sometimes when I'm high but the intentions are always to fix things and make them right haha

The point I wish I was at, is the point that I can summon the motivation and enthusiasm Crack gives me whilst on a sober head so the lists as you said will actually make sense and things will be attainable =]

I can relate. Back in my upper days I would always start tasks that would never get finished once I came down. Like one time I got the grand idea that I would host a massive office party BBQ at my place. Of course I was high as shit. Fast forward the next day I wake up stone sober feeling like TOTAL SHIT and realize 'oh fuck I've got about 100 people coming to my house this afternoon'. That was the worst. Impulse control is largely mediated by dopamine so it makes sense.
