Compression Sessions [aka hot boxing]

i like to enjoy the music and seeing the smoke rise out of the car when you open the door....hotboxing is worth just seeing it lol
 
my most recent hotboxing exp

So , last Friday..or thursday..I dunno. Anyway, I live in the dorms at my university here, it's suite style though. I share a bathroom with my roommate, and our other suitemate, and a living room. Anyway, I went into the bathroom, duct taped all around the door and put a towel at the bottom of the door (hard to duct tape floor to door opening). Anyway, I go into m y shower stall, it's about 7 foot tall, and 3 feet wide and 3 ft deep. There's a curtain, though it doesn't go all the way to the top. So I sealed the curtain to the tile, duct tapes a towel at the topc, completely sealed myself in.

I forgot my weed..had to unseal a side, go out, grab it. I seal back up, and proceed to smoke about a gram, two big bowls anyway, in my bubbler. It got smoky as hell in that small space! There's a small light in the shower, oddly enough, with all the smoke, i noticed that air comes out of it - a slight stream, enough for me to notice anyway. Weird!

I don't really think hotboxing got/gets me any higher than normal, but it is cool as hell. And i, like all stoners, love duct tape, so it was fun, in a noinproductive sort of way :D
 
As a stupid sophomore in HS a couple buddies of mine snuck into a school bus yard and clam baked a short bus. I was really paranoid the whole time so I didn't really have too much fun.
 
Interesting to see all the different terms at use. We say "hotbox", and use the term "Jamaican Shower" like another earlier poster mentioned, but it's a more specialized term; hotboxing a bathroom with the shower running with hot water, and also setting around teakettles if so inclined. It's like smoking in a sauna! And I think we're gonna do one at a buddy's house this weekend.
 
Hotboxing was cool in highschool when you thought you were getting higher, but like others said, all it's really doing is just depriving you of oxygen. I'll still hotbox every once in a while, but that's only because my friends want to.
 
what's the point of the Jamaican shower?I do this sometimes when trying to blaze and don't want my suitemates or friends that are over in our dorm wondering why i'm spending 20 minutes+ in the bathroom, lol.
 
yea its kinda dumb cuz it doesnt do any good but make everything smell like bud but it is seriously awsome to get a car smoked out then just get out and watch the smoke roll out... its rewarding or something like 'look what i can do' ... haha its not a good idea though when youre getting out of the car somewhere you shouldnt have the smoke but its still funny with the whole scramble of things and how much smoke still pours out even if you swear the door was only open like 2 seconds

lol just recently a friend of mine and i were smoking his car up bad just sitting in front of his house and his girl rolls up (hes not supposed to smoke, haha what a joke) and he trys to get out all quick and falls over with the door hanging open and a cloud bigger than the car pours out and she just kept going.... all the denial in the world couldnt save his ass but we both still thought it was pretty hilarious
 
tents were good for hotboxing a few years ago, i might try it again soon for old times sake...
 
I love hotboxing a car when someone who doesn't usually smoke is along, obviously they can't really go anywhere while everyone else is smoking, and they get a contact high. :)

I do avoid hotboxing for the most part now, unless its late night and we're just chillin, cus afterwards I reek like a mofo, and i pretty much smoke on the way to anything, and don't want to be all stanky when I get there.
 
Yeah me and my freinds get into a car and roll up the windows, play music, and take our 3 ft bong in there

we just do it in front of his house. driving out to a spot and hotboxing makes me real paranoid tho!
 
yer dutchies in ya car can be alright sometimes, depends though. i prefer at night, then drivin up a busy street and lettin all the smoke pour out. fuck its hilarious. i still prefer normal sessions though...nothing beats the comfort of ones lounge, tv, music, food...
 
ahh...i remember the days of smoking weed and then i joined the f*ing military. im getting out in a few weeks and cant wait to blaze up. well it wouldnt be my first time blazing up while i was in...hehehe. Oh hotboxing is fun, but i much prefer shotguns...its a little more stimulating. what do you think?
 
I love hotboxing. If we smoke enough weed we can hotbox the room to the point that there is a LARGE layer of smoke floating. I personally hotboxing unmoving cars the most, have smoked many blunts in those cars and just had a blast. Talk about smooookey! I'm sure its worse for you, I mean you're sitting in a giant cloud of smoke, but damn its so nice. Kind of makes you smell like weed for like a 20 foot radius but thats all good as long as you are in the right company. :) This thread makes me want to go fucking hotbox right now, but damn if i'm not in the country or at the beach. :/ There is also the tried and true hotbox your bathroom with the hot water on max, the steam rises and pushes the smoke back down so you can see giant clouds swirling in the mist of hot water vapors while at the same time moisturizing the smoke and putting it back into your lungs - good stuff. :) These days I usually just hotbox by myself, but when the old highschool buds are in town we never miss a chance to blaze in a group of 3-4.
 
I love hotboxing. However, my friend and I once hotboxed in a car, and a cop pulled up and we didn't realize it. He came up to our window, we opened it and reefer smoke just billowed out the window...I was soooo stoned. He was giving me so much crap because I said I didn't have my driver's license on me, and then like 15 minutes later, I was like, "oh, actually it's been in my pocket the whole time". I was just so stoned I didin't realize I had it on me.

Well, sorry for the sidetrack. But yea I like hotboxing cars and rooms. Bathrooms with steam are too uncomfortable for me, if I do it with my clothes on. So if I do it in the bathroom, I do it alone before I take a shower. High showers are really nice as well.

The thrill of the blaze my man! Me and my buddies always blaze behind res. buildings always wary of the ever-watchful security cops.

As for "compression sessions," or as we call it - hotboxing - it's fucking great. For some reason it gives me a real sense of companionship to fill a room with smoke with a couple of close friends. It's always good to pull a "Jamaican Waterfall" too: just hotbox the bathroom with the shower on nice and hot so it gets real steamy.
 
The best session I'v ever had is when me and some friends jumped in a friends SUV, threw on the Cypress Hill Black Sunday CD, and hazed serveral dubs and bong rips.
