I had recently kicked opiate abuse..but then was in an auto accident, and had surgery..so I am back on again. I'm starting to taper down today from high doses of OC, I'm using Klonipin and 5mg. hydros to cushion the fall. A complication is that my dr. cut off my valium after the wreck so I was suffering benzo withdrawals till I got the K's today. I had forgotten at first how long k's took to set in and almost got discouraged, now an hour and a half later I'm definitely feeling them, I was worried about the withdrawals fighting each other and I want to get the full benifit of what I have. Today, I went with 2mg K, and 30mg hydro, so far. My supply of benzo's is limited till I go to my new doc wed. any suggestions on the best way to handle this, and make the most out of what I have to get through the opiate w/ds first. Keep in mind I'm trying to ward off benzo w/d till next week as well. They are very difficult for me and last time I had seizures. Should I be staggering between the two (a day on hydros, a day on benzo's) or should I do light combos to get me through? Just when I thought I knew it all......I'm open to all suggestions
