So I've looked all around and haven't seemed to have found a definitive answer to this question. What I need to know is how to go about complexing some 25C and laying it on blotter. I've got a shipment coming in and would like to be able to complex right away. I've heard it just doesn't kick quite as fast non-complexed and was also considering this as a viable option if true? I know I need to get ahold of some HPBCD but I don't need anything near the amount of complexing agent as the few online vendors supply. Once I have it how do I know how much to use, molar ratios? And do I just mix the complexing agent with my 25C solution, sprinkle some more HPBCD on the blotter and lay it out as usual or are there steps I'm missing? Any help would be appreciated. Also wondering if I should go get a new magnetic stirrer, I hear that you need agitation for up to 8 hours to get the purported total of around 8mg to dissolve into 1mL of water. Just looking for some friendly help on my new science experiment, posts or PM's would both be appreciated.
